we meditate to refine our divine awareness. when i sit, i don’t try to repress my thoughts anymore. repress, indulge, same thing. i just notice. i notice when one thought keeps coming up over and over. i notice the uncomfortable feeling and try to breathe into it. i don’t judge, i just bear witness. as we start to tune in and listen more closely, we come face to face with some discomfort. those uncomfortable emotions are what leads to the growth. they are the teachings. we become aware of the discomfort, then we interrogate it. we try to get to the bottom of it, find its roots. i’m not sure about the next step. i’ll let you know when i figure it out. i love you.
